Thank you to everyone who entered ‪#‎GirlRogues‬ competition on Zizzi’s facebook page – who, to be in with a chance of winning a signed paperback – were asked to comment when they’d last behaved in a rogue-like way…

Due to the lively roguish comments, we have selected two further entrants – who both win a #GirlRogues: Braggadocio eBook by Zizzi Bonah.

  1. Jess Kidde – who commented “Kidde by name, Kidde by nature.”
  2. Ruth Elisa Munoz – who commented “My sister was gonna eat the last croissant but I snatched it from her and yelled MINE!”
  3. Emily Brown – who commented “Everyday! I don’t follow the rules!”

This competition was held for one month only – closing date 31 May 2016 – via page

#GirlRogue style – how to avoid getting employed – the unwanted job interview

In the confession box is a girl rogue who to conceal her identity – we’ll call Miss X.

At the request of her local job center, Miss X agreed to attend a job interview in order to prevent her allowance being stopped.

During the job interview Miss X was asked to identity a time when she’d applied initiative. This I am assured was her reply:

Quote: “Just this morning at hearing the recycling truck pull onto my street, a flash of inspiration struck me – I finished the half bottle of wine from last night, then added it to the rest of the recyclable bottles in time for collection.” Unquote.

Needless to say, Miss X’s interview was not successful. She remains happily unemployed for another week.

Have you deliberately failed a job interview in the style of a #GirlRogue ?
